When I received the toner for my HP m428fdw printer I knew it would be of good quality. You've seen it before, just the attention to detail in the packaging told me it was a good product. The inner box itself is of good quality. Both toner cartridges were properly sealed, hung in foam holders and placed in the box. Also included with the kit were updated instructions detailing some of the chip removal issues encountered. Thanks HP! But the instructions state that if your original cartridge is new, the company will help you. Luckily I didn't have that and had no problem transferring the chip from the old cartridge to the new one using the tool provided. I put the cartridge in my printer and the printer recognized it immediately. No problem, so the instructions on how to move the chip were accurate and simple enough for me to follow. Print quality is the primary reason we buy all toner cartridges. Outstanding - the black quality corresponds to that of an original HP cartridge. Now I've run 50-100 pages with no issues. And remember, these are higher-capacity 58X cartridges, so you'll buy them less often. Can't comment on durability yet, but I'll update my rating once I get to the end of any of these villains. In general, I'm a big fan of being able to choose who to buy toner from. the quality is at least the same. With these cartridges I get 2 less than HP charges for one. I thought it was worth the risk and I was right. You will not be disappointed.
