I bought this to connect my front DVR to my rear DVR as I have them installed side by side in front of the windshield glass and Didn't want to use the extra long cable that came with it. The cable is not transmitting a signal. Out of curiosity, I tried connecting it to my external SSD instead of the regular cable it uses to test transfer speeds. This cable could only support 30MB/s reading and 33MB/s writing while the normal cable stayed under 200MB/s reading and writing. I had almost identical results with another short USB-C cable I bought.
