I never write negative reviews but it's so confusing as to why these sheets have such good reviews. Unfortunately I bought TWO sets because they look so pretty. I always wash my sheets before using them, so I didn't even fall asleep on them before discovering that many areas lost their "fleece" after washing and drying and the fabric felt like burlap in those areas. Even "fleece" feels like some sort of synthetic (not cotton). I have solid color REAL fleece sheets from Berkshire Blanket that are still amazing after a year of washing and drying. With these plaid sheets getting such great reviews, I just thought it would be nice to alternate plaid fabrics with plains. Such a disappointment. And since I washed them, I guess I can't return them. And the price is BIGGER than the fabulous Berkshire blanket. I really wish I hadn't gotten them on impulse or paid more attention to one star reviews. Maybe I'll use them on the dog bed.
