As soon as I began wearing these slippers, I noticed the wide rubber sole was catching on everything - my pajamas, my robe - and the thick sole caught the edge of my open stairs and caused me to almost trip several times. The front of the rubber sole has a rough surface to it that gabs any material it comes in contact with.The result was - after wearing them only a few times over several weeks -I had to give them away. It's too bad because I AM a "cat lady" and love the design - but I am also extremely careful because I've had a couple of falls in the past 2 years - don't want another one! I walk slowly but nothing could prevent the slipper sole from catching material. I had to grab something twice to keep from falling.Watch out for these slippers - they are not safe.
