Review on 🚦 DOT Certified LED 3rd Brake Light for 1999-2015 F250 F350 Super Duty and 1993-2011 Ranger by Robert Grimm

Pros: Got the third brake light quickly and was in good condition. The light itself looked like a solid part, good construction and a wiring harness that was pre-wired into an existing Ford 3 pin connector. The light has a good real seal and is also fitted with 4 o-rings to seal the bolts on the cab mount. Cons: Light doesn't come with new screws so you have to reuse old rusty screws or buy locally. The back of the canopy did not have straight edges to fit in the cockpit slot. Instead, they were beveled, resulting in a 1/8"-1/4" wide back of the cap for proper fit. Unable to install and assemble, I didn't even bother to check the flashlight. Repackaged and sent back for a refund. Switched to a different version from a different vendor. If you have a Ford F250/350 99-02 I would not recommend this light. Ford has made very few changes to the cabs on these trucks over the years and I was surprised by this issue. This can be an isolated incident or a quality control issue.
