I have now installed eight of these mounts on 55" and 65" TVs. I don't know what else I need from a TV mount. Features: The one-piece long wall plate is fully assembled and can be wall mounted without a TV. Includes a cardboard template to help you easily pre-determine where and which holes to use to attach the one-piece long wall plate with screws Installation One-piece long wall plate for studs included. Two brackets with the necessary screws attach to your TV and once in place you can take your TV and simply hang the brackets on a solid long wall plate. Two pipe clamps with screws fix these TV brackets to the wall plate. Lots of extra hardware so you have the screws and standoffs you need. It is best to loosen the six (6) hinge screws before mounting the long wall plate to the wall (not too much, about one and a half turns at a time). To do this you need a set of Allen keys and a set of open-end wrenches (strange but true, I found two different sized nuts). Please check the opening feeling of the panel before installation. To install, first install the two brackets on the TV, then measure the distance from the bottom of the TV to the top of the hook on the bracket. This measurement makes it easy to adjust the height of the one-piece long wall plate Bottom of the TV 46 inches off the floor Two reasons you lie in bed and sometimes have to look at your stomach that's too high Locate the wooden studs that you'll be installing the wall plate on want. Use a cardboard template to determine the location of the top left lag bolt and which two slotted holes will fit your studs. Drill a pilot hole for the first lag screw, then use a washer on the lag screw to secure the top left side of the wall panel about one turn. Using a spirit level, position the wall plate, drill the top right hole and use the second screw and washer. Check the level again; Check again the distance from the floor to the bottom of the TV (as planned). Install securing screws three and four. Tighten all fastening screws. Then hang up the TV and plug in the TV. If for some reason the TV is not level, this can be adjusted at this point. Be aware that you may have exposed wires that you don't like.
