I had an old white Cuisinart and the lid broke after 10 years of use. I wanted a new one, stainless steel, but it was out of stock. The valuation of this GE looked good so I agreed, but apparently none of these people owned a Cuisinart. This item came with a minimum of accessories, not even a scraper (I still use the one that came with the original Cuisinart). The blades are too small and fragile. I make pesto all the time, in this case the nuts stay big and squirt into the machine. I would have sent it back but my husband threw the box away and I figured I'd like it over time. I'll keep it working until it dies or until I'm willing to spend the money to replace it. I even went straight to GE and they basically thanked me for my review.
