It works great, seems quite effective, I only use the first layer

So I need a warm blanket for the coming cold months. This is perfect as it only has one leg pocket. It worked so well that I only stayed on the first heat level, I didn't have to go any further (for the time being). My only issue is that the plug that you plug the power cord into is a bit tight and doesn't come out easily. You can remove it with both hands and some force. The power cord looks pretty solid for that, so don't worry about it wearing out anytime soon. A good product!
