I'm a 12/14 and bought the extra large. I thought it fit well, LOVED the draw string front, though it was tough to do but stays put. I think this is a piece that looks good on any body type. I'm 5' tall, very short and found that with the front drawn up and a little bit of a heel the skirt doesn't drag on me. the brown is very true to color on the picture the vendor provides. This will be a great piece to my Halloween costume this year and for years to come. Well made, solid piece, is made of good quality fabric (compared to other Halloween costumes).I'm going as a steampunk this year but could easily switch it up to pirate, vampire, vampire hunter, wench, adventurer, and possibly use for day of the dead costume.If you aren't fond of your legs being on display (such as me with my day glow legs), pair with lace leggings (or any leggings or stockings), and boots.
