Let me start with a) I don't write reviews and b) no it's not sponsored but based on old reviews I've read I thought I should be clear. I'm not sure if the reviewers who complained understood or expected it, but I was amazed when I took it out of my pocket. I expected the leather to need treatment to soften it and achieve the desired color and planned for it to be just mediocre, which for the price I was happy with. This wallet is soft, the color is perfect and matches the photos and although I've just received it, there's nothing to suggest it won't last or is poorly constructed. Mine doesn't smell like others have said (although my dog was keen that it was good natural leather). I'm so impressed, maybe because I lowered the bar after reading the reviews, but this is amazing in every way, not to mention the price. If you're looking for something indestructible that will last forever, nothing cuts the price tag of $45, but I've seen inferior leather cases on department store shelves that cost twice as much as this one. If you're on a fence, buy it. I was anything but disappointed.
