I'm usually wary of using long data cables. 12 feet isn't very long, but without proper shielding, data packets can often be lost, resulting in slow download/upload speeds. I am using this cable to transfer data from a 24 track recorder to a PC. It was the perfect length for my job without having to move the recorder or PC to use a shorter cable. This cable works perfectly and looks high quality. I recommend this USB A to USB B data cable.
