Review on Sokani Bi Color 2800K 10000K Photography Recording by Bryan King

Great little light

This light is amazing. I'm a professional videographer working with fairly expensive equipment on a daily basis. For my personal gear collection, I try to find cheaper alternatives to the ones I use at work. This light is very bright and amazing! I love that it can change color too! I gave 5 stars for the overall quality of the light, but the special effects features don't work, but I rarely use them. Police, ambulance and fire brigade are good, a bad lightbulb is good, but a fire and a TV are complete nonsense! The paparazzi and zippers aren't too bad, but they tend to follow a pattern and should be chosen at random. Again, I probably won't be using these features very often. I also bought a Sokani flashlight and it offers excellent soft diffusion of light. I tested this light and used it on a real commercial shoot. It took a whole 6 hours! Easy assembly is expected for the price. The screen on the back feels like cheap plastic, as do the control buttons. Holding the tension bracket on just one side is a bit fiddly, but the serrations prevent the light from tipping once tightened. I even tested it outdoors on an overcast day and this light delivers decent fill at about 4ft from the subject.
