Has worked well so far, my son loves the color and the fact that it glows. It's also comfortable in his hand (he's 6 1/2) and much easier to use than a laptop's touchpad. Unfortunately, after a few months, he stopped communicating with the computer. Aside from the obvious problem with it (that it intermittently stops working every time it disconnects and then reconnects), it also makes an annoying noise every time it loses and reconnects to the computer. We've tried this with different USB ports and on different computers and the problem is definitely with the mouse, not the computer or the USB port.
