Vely Vely in Custom Flawless Concealer can be made for full coverage with a soft matte finish and allowing enough drying time to blend. The concealer has an additional sun protection factor of 30 (due to the use of titanium dioxide as a second ingredient). Titanium dioxide in its natural form is a white mineral pigment. It is commonly used in mineral sunscreen formulations and is also used to brighten, increase coverage and thicken liquid/cream products in the cosmetics industry. The downside of using titanium dioxide in facial products is that it creates white flare in photos. Also to note: This product smells like citrus candy. In addition to some fruit oils and flower extracts, artificial flavors (perfumes) are added. My skin is sensitive to many fragrances, but there have been no negative reactions to this product. (I did a patch test on my arm 24 hours before using it on my face). The smell disappears almost immediately after drying. The foot applicator is standard sized and easy to use (think Maybelline FitMe Concealer Stick). I personally find the Vely Vely cosmetic component used in this packaging to have a very luxurious feel and the box was securely sealed which I always appreciate. The expiry date is 2 years on the packaging. I chose an honest color and it suits my fair neutral skin perfectly.
