This backpack was fantastic for my daughter during 5th grade and now she enjoys using it again in 6th grade. Durable and versatile, it's probably the best backpack we've ever bought. I usually buy from Lands End but the quality has dropped and the wheeled backpack is $99 compared to the $31-$55 Sunrise version. My daughter enjoyed the ride function for the first half of the school year and easily switched to using it as a backpack later in the year. It contains a lot of school supplies as well as jackets and other stuff that she stuffed inside. Also washes very well. I am now buying one for my other daughter who is in 4th grade as she has always wanted one since she saw her sister. Unlike LE, there are so many fun themes to choose from. I would recommend this backpack to any child who is conscientious about their belongings and wants a choice.
