Review on Triple trekking tent Canadian Camper KARIBU 3, royal by Dagmara Fidyt ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall good, but expected more.

The tent was bought in 2022, used 2 times in the summer (July and August) The first hike was overshadowed by a wild downpour and a strong wind (we stood in the forest near the shore of the Gulf of Finland), the tent survived, but since the downpour with a thunderstorm began to suddenly close the upper windows, we did not have time, under the influence of the wind, water fell on us, the same it was with the second exit / entrance, the water was poured under the awning through the zipper, I’ll just add that the downpour was really strong, those who were resting at that time in Sosnovy Bor know that the city was flooded normally. At the time of the downpour, the tent accommodated 12 (!) People, one was in the vestibule and was all wet, they were sitting around the perimeter of the tent, the bottom did not get wet, but the phones that were in the side pockets got wet (when we assembled the tent the next day in the inner tent was puddle) As for the size, I immediately bought a mattress 183 \ 203, the tent was spread out a lot, keep in mind, I also note that it was very cold to sleep at night after a shower (with closed air holes) The next trip the tent behaved with dignity, but it was still damp due to for condensate.

Pros
  • Light cheap Good protection against water (there is one "but" I will write below) Roomy Assembled together in 10 minutes without instructions (Although it is sewn into the bag)
Cons
  • In places where lightning is a constant leak, the protective strip does not save small tambour Not high Not quite correct dimensions of the inner tent The quality of the stitching is lame, when installing the inner tent, threads hung around the perimeter. There is a missing shelf in the ceiling.
