These headphones may have a quality control issue. The first pair I got sounded all over the place and the hi-hats sounded like mashed potatoes with almost zero clarity. Somewhere in the middle was a frequency that sounded erratic every time it was played. It seemed like it was only in the left ear no matter which earbud was attached to the left side.
