I carry 2.5 kg on my belt all day. From the moment I get up to the moment I go to bed, I have a very physical job. I destroy belts in a very short time. This one actually feels like it could last a long time, the braided strap is very thick and durable. The buckle closes and closes beautifully and so far it hasn't shifted, changed size throughout the day, or completely fallen apart.
