I'm concerned about the lack of quality laptop cases available online, the quality has dropped significantly. I'd happily spend $75-$100 on my dad's $1200 premium laptop sleeve, but the size ('13) options were limited. Many years ago I bought a K-Swiss laptop case for $60, I still use it, but today there is nothing like it, just the quality is not the same. I bought a Calvin Klein laptop bag as a gift 7-8 years ago for $100, it is very beautiful and time-tested, it has enough compartments for laptop, charger, tablet, laptop and headphones. , as well as other miscellaneous items. I was at Nordstrom recently, they had very nice laptop cases. Prices ranged from $350 on the low end to $725 (!). It's not really a laptop bag, it's a bag or case, it fits a 13 year old laptop well and the fleece material inside is soft. The two compartments are tiny, however we only fit the charger in as it's unusually small, but that's it, it doesn't even fit small headphones and we wouldn't put them in there if we could as there's very little weight to it. There is almost no protection inside the bag for the contents of either bag, just a thin patch of some cheap material that this bag is made of. I'm practically not sure if this bag protects the laptop from a fall. The shoulder strap is really cheap, it's hard to undo the plastic clasps that attach to the bag. In fact, I was very ashamed to give it. Revain needs to improve his game. On the one hand, they sell laptops for $2,000, but do they expect their customers to rely on this junk to protect their investment? It's either $350 for a luxury case or $20 for a glorified portfolio.
