Review on Peoples Republic Complete Fingerboard Bearing by David Moreno

The price of this wooden pole caught my attention. Unfortunately the quality wasn't very good. The first one I received had misaligned holes which I quickly discovered after reassembling. The assembly is quite simple, apart from the fact that the screws are quite difficult to screw in. Staggered holes caused the board to pull to the right when in use. For this reason I have followed the instructions on the packaging which inform you to contact Broken Knuckle Fingerboards directly if you have any problems after searching the website for help. I checked the website and emailed the company with the email address provided with no help. The response took a while, but when I finally got it, it didn't even come close to answering my questions. It was like an automatic reply they sent to everyone. I replied again with my problem and pictures, now no answer. I decided to contact the seller directly through Revain. This time I got the same auto reply as the email! But in the end they replied just to tell me that they didn't see any flaws. The trucks were clearly crooked and not straight. Frustrated, I contacted Revain directly and they helped me straight away, no problem. Then I get a replacement in the mail and find that my first board was indeed defective. However, the new board was smaller than the previous one, despite being labeled the same size. This inconsistency can be a little disturbing. The quality of the second one also seemed much better, so I'm not exactly sure what happened to the first one. I'm sending the first back and keeping the second because I like it much better. The fact that they are two different sizes is still a bit strange to me. I don't want another valued Revain customer to run into the same issue but the replacement appeared to be of much better quality than the first hence my rating.
