Pros: This humidifier is very quiet and turns on instantly, it doesn't need to warm up before it starts to fog up. I also like the beautiful look of the car and the night light that I can use to quickly check the water level in the dark. Cons: Ultrasonic humidification creates white dust from minerals in tap water that covers everything in the house. I've since learned that to avoid creating this white dust, I need to use distilled water. Breathing in these fine dust particles may not be healthy either. So for extra money I switched from tap water to distilled water. I bought a "cold mist" model that seems to lower the temperature compared to my old heated/non-ultrasonic warm mist model. I feel a cooling effect when I walk through the fog. Verdict: Buy this model if you don't mind paying extra for distilled water.
