The tip came in genetic packaging, not Mopar packaging. Maybe it's a mass product. The dealer wanted $50 so I went with this one. The plastic is glossy, the original is matte. It may be due to 5 years sun exposure, time will tell. The nozzle just clicks into place and the spray pattern is good for my caravan. The pattern unfolds to cover a larger area. The pattern is not adjustable. Both the remaining original and the new one are sprayed onto the roof when the spray button is held down. Short pulses cover the property of the windshield. It's still a ridiculous plastic part, but given the mixed reviews of genuine parts that stay with the OEM.
