Not good. almost terrible
The stand is screwed into the base - this is an important detail. because this stupid thing came loose and fell out of my cold shoe on my first dive. Luckily I saw it and was able to get my $500 video light back! I have attached a flashlight to my gear on later dives and have not had this problem. I will find the threads when I get back from this diving trip.
