My 17 year old tortoiseshell cat recently developed a malignant breast tumor which quickly metastasized to the breast. She underwent 5 cycles of chemotherapy which unfortunately did nothing to reduce or slow the growth of the tumor or the spread of the cancer into the chest. On our last visit, our oncologist sent us home with a "soft" cone that she had to wear at all times so she wouldn't compulsively lick the tumor and get an infection. She absolutely hated it and it was hard to see her so unhappy with what she was already going through. A great substitute for a cone, this cotton tank top is so much more comfortable! I can put a panty liner on the inside of the top where the swelling is supposed to absorb the discharge and keep the area clean and dry. The size XS fitted her well as she has lost some weight over the past few months and is currently only around 6lbs. Thank you!
