Well, this thing saves lives. My 3 year old hates washing her hair. I'm talking banshee yells, karate kicks, cat scratch hate. So I bought this and another similar item. This one for me mainly because it fits my daughter's head better. So I put it on her and let her know she was washing her hair. She protested vehemently. When her spidery arms and legs retracted and I managed to get her into the tub, I gave her a dry face towel in case the water got on her face. I poured water on her head and nothing. No screams, nothing. When she felt her face and ears safe, she happily played with her toys in the bathroom and I was able to wash her hair with no problem. I should note that my daughter is black and has a head full of curly thick hair. This means that when she struggles to wash, both dirt and shampoo are left behind and I end up having to use a towel or comb with cotton swabs to get as close to cleaning as possible. I am very happy that I found this product. It would have been a great invention 35 years ago when I had to wash my hair.
