Your sound quality is pretty average even by Bluetooth standards. The mic is pretty bad too, although he has "6" of them. But if you get them, it should be for the other features it has. The noise-cancellation is pretty good, and you can "easily" (more on that in the next paragraph) toggle it on and off by tapping the earbuds a couple of times. . Both modes, noise reduction and ambient, work well. The Bluetooth connection has been strong so far and hasn't given me any issues, and the case feels pretty solid and all have good battery life overall. Switching modes is really difficult, but I haven't found any Bluetooth headphones that don't work yet. I don't have this problem so I don't charge for it. At the current total price of $55, unless you're expecting great mic/sound quality, these are honestly a pretty good deal for what they are. If you want something small with solid noise cancellation/bandwidth that won't break the bank then this does a pretty good job.
