Fits perfectly in my small 10" dish drawer, extra millimeters on either side so I don't expect it to move much. If you are worried about it slipping back when you close the drawer, you can stick on the rubber feet. I put a plastic shelf liner at the bottom to keep it from sliding back when we slam the drawer. The compartments are long and deep (can you even make it deeper?) enough to hold our new extra large cutlery, which is one of the reasons I chose a bamboo organizer over a plastic one (plastic trays usually seemed too small for our needs) It also looks better in my new cupboards than plastic, so this was the obvious choice for me. The top portion fits dessert forks or coffee/tea spoons if you use them, but are serving items from my cutlery set perfect for now.
