Well first. The app is easy to use and there are many good integrations with Fitbit, Samsung, Google etc. I can automatically track the results for many different apps for further analysis. Setup was relatively easy, although it's tricky if you have a mesh network and don't have a choice of 5GHz or 2.4. I decided to get scanned because I couldn't figure out the inconsistencies in the numbers. Your body fat percentage shouldn't change by 0.5% just because you went to the bathroom or drank some water. And I didn't feel like I had 20% body fat on a relatively lean body. I lost 15 pounds and that was only 2% body fat. At this rate, I would need to lose an additional 3% body fat to reach "Fit" level. Would I have to weigh around 145 pounds to be considered healthy? Like a 43 year old man? It was wrong. I did a dexa scan and lo and behold I was 12.8% body fat. Not only is it a huge difference, it's a dangerous difference when I'm frantically dieting and trying to hit a number I'm already well below. It's not a bad scale, and it's helped me track trends over time. I've also heard that all home scales have the same problem, so there's no better place. But I urge you, DO NOT use this as a difficult number to follow. You may injure yourself doing this. Get a DEXA scan and match it to the scale.
