Cut out the inner yellow fabric.
They ended up being a perfect match for the photophone I used them on. But let me be clear that I wanted to burn them all by collecting them. The yellow part of the inner tissue that looked like pollen was a small demonic beast that had to be severed. In the end I honestly just pulled the yellow fabric out of all of them and just puffed up the pink part and they looked great. If you collect them, KEEP EXTRA TIME. I highly recommend just throwing away the inner yellow cloth. Plus they were perfect! (I also suggest googling assembly videos, that was really helpful too.)
