The cable measures exactly 12 inches from the bottom of the female end to the tip of the male end, WITHOUT the prongs. So it's not a foot-long Subway item. I'm pretty sure 12 inches will work for you! Allow for some bending at both ends and be aware that it will not make an absolute 90 degree turn. After reading the reviews on here I played it safe and bought a 24 inch power cord from I'm glad I made it from the same manufacturer! For less than $5 I'm keeping it in case I find a use for it somewhere someday and don't want to waste anyone's money on a product that lives up to the hype.
