The seal foams and LEAKS! Not the most comfortable seat

UPDATE: The mechanic who installed this toilet was reluctant to install it because it has a foam gasket and no matter how hard he tried to fix it with enough pressure it would do I was 100% sure it wouldn't leak. Yes, of course! 😑 I'm so mad, my untreated sewage ran into my basement! It didn't seem to be leaking on the first day when he checked before leaving. The installation instructions say that if you have an "accidental" water leak, you need to put sealant on it, which you really can't do with this stuff. So now we have to come up with something that works! Remove any stats I originally provided. The seat is uncomfortable, it didn't even have a waterline going from the floor to the back of the toilet. I give it one star because it's the bare minimum and I love how the water cleans the bowl as it rinses. First Rating: I only gave it four stars because it doesn't have a waterline and the seat is too rounded to be comfortable. I'm not a heavy person. In my opinion this is fine if you only need to sit on it for a few minutes, but for someone who needs more time to go about their business (or older people) this can seem extremely uncomfortable. I can find a more comfortable replacement seat. Otherwise, I find the height to be great, it cleans well with every flush. The pedal is very easy to press. You only push a few inches to fill the bowl or the trap will open. It's difficult to operate the pedal while seated, which some people will prefer. Another plus is that it is very quiet when washing dishes. happy with my purchase except I hope to find a more comfortable seat ring

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
