Reader: I bought 02 of these kits for my 2018 Honda Ridgeline truck. I plugged one into the connector near the center console - to light up there at night. The other went into a huge storage box on the center console. Honda put a light in there and then painted it over - it's useless. But there is a stub for one of them. NOW I have the light in the box and the plug cover acts as a shade to keep the light out of your eyes. The rest goes in the back seat. These are great "lights" for your car and the price is good.
