Fan provides excellent circulation and cooling in a 10' x 15' room with 9' high ceilings! The fan is mounted on the ceiling joist near the corner of the entrance to the office space at an angle of approximately 45° diagonally down from the opposite corner. The office is in a historic building on the second floor with limited outlets and electricity; is located between two adjoining rooms, isolating outside breezes and leaving only one north-facing window to let air in (mostly warmer air with no breeze). Until now, the room has only been insufficiently cooled by a portable air conditioner with a low temperature of 62°C with minimal air passage from the hallway to the entrance of the room. The addition of a fan solved the problem of stale and stale air, creating a comfortable environment at any time of the day with or without the front door open. A 15 meter surge protector and an extension cord were attached to the perimeter trim near the ceiling from the opposite wall where the outlet is located. The fan features a 9-foot chord with a total length of 24 feet that stretches from wall to wall, including two alcoves separated by a closet. A maximum of three devices will work simultaneously without tripping the switch. A 12 inch chain link was added to the standard 3 inch factory chain, measuring about 15 inches overall and located about 24 inches from the 9 foot ceiling. So you can easily switch three variable speeds on or off. Note: The original order was received with a slightly bent bracket (yoke) and paint chipping on the bracket (probably a rare situation). The fan should be installed the next day; Revain shipped the new product the next day and sent a courier to get the original order same day ---- excellent customer service!
