My cats have been on dry food for over 12 years so I had great doubts about their willingness to switch to wet food as per plan but they have been amazing. We ate a box of chicken and ended up with just turkey. (I think they liked the chicken better than the turkey, but the jury is still out.) Cooking twice a day is a bit of a chore, but the end result is worth it. Anything wet is better for our pets than dry pellets and a food that I'm actually fine with feeding them. I've also noticed a HUGE difference in the litter box: a lot less solid waste - telling me their bodies are using food instead of just defecating - and significantly more wet patches - giving me peace of mind that their urinary tract is well lubricated and functioning. I only wish I had done that sooner.
