This is a well made and very durable tablet/phone holder. We bought this for an elderly family member so they could comfortably watch videos and such instead of trying to hold a tablet. Many tablets have edge-to-edge displays, so holding them with a few fingers often covers part of the display. This solves this problem and also offers improved viewing from a comfortable position. Why isn't it perfect? The design does not allow movement of the first part of the outstretched arm (leading away from the vertical support). All you're left with is the end of a lever that can be moved to fine-tune tilt and pan using the tablet holder itself. The problem with this design is that you have to position the entire stand to get positions that are very useful when seated. Move it to almost any position you want, making it that much more versatile. As it is, it gets 3 stars. If the manufacturer changes this one thing, it becomes the perfect tablet/phone stand that can be used in almost any environment.
