Compare it to a well-known brand. and it will win!

I only used two keyboard cases for my iPad because I have very specific needs. As an artist, I'm always looking for cases with a strap for my Apple Pencil so I don't have to assemble it myself. I needed a case with a keyboard for laptop mode, as well as an option to get the keyboard out of the way when I wanted tablet mode only. I also needed a backlit keyboard. My first keyboard case was from ZAGGED so I will compare the BABG case to this one. BABG iPad 9.7 Case Benefits: Fast Bluetooth connection from sleep mode! It literally takes a keypress to wake it up, and it immediately registers the next keypress. There's also a physical on/off switch so I can conserve the keyboard's battery if I decide I don't want to rely on the auto-sleep feature. Lots of hotkeys, some of which are unique: copy/paste and +/- screen brightness. . The screen brightness hotkeys make it a lot easier to view media on the iPad since I don't have to pause and go into settings to adjust it. The case stays closed and won't open, keeping your iPad secure and preventing it from being accidentally woken up. .Long battery life and light weight! This battery easily doubles the number of uses than the one I've used. You can rotate the keyboard behind the tablet for tablet-only mode. I had trouble losing keyboards when they were detachable. The keyboard always attached to my bag ensures I never accidentally forget it. Amazing customer service. I noticed the keys on my keyboard didn't work and they immediately gave me a new case. You don't have to send it back first. Cons of the BABG iPad 9.7 case: The case can feel cheap. The iPad sleeve is made of lightweight plastic. Because the case and keyboard are very light, I have a limited choice of angles in laptop mode. Tilting the iPad back too far will cause the screen to fall off as the iPad itself is heavier than the keyboard. It also makes it difficult to use the case on my lap unless I keep my hands on the keyboard the entire time. When I switch the case to different modes, there is a creaking noise. It doesn't feel smooth and it scares me that I might end up breaking the case due to the wrong move. Overall I like this case better than the ZAGGED Book Pro as the pros outweigh the cons. The only feature I missed on the ZAGGED is the back support, which gives the laptop mode more versatile angle choices and makes it easier to use on your knees. If the build quality was more solid with the same features I was looking for I would happily buy it again.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Almost OK
