Review on πŸ”Œ Bussmann NO 44 Blade Tester Puller: Efficient Tool for Blade Testing and Extraction by Marc Gallner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good selection of fuses with a tester included.

This is a good selection of different ATC fuses. It covers the most common values and can help you when a critical fuse blows. The included tester/puller works very well. It can test fuses of different sizes, but it is very cumbersome to use in a small space. Unless you are in the ideal position, which is not always possible, it is difficult to see the indicator light. The fuse puller part works quite well, but with the same limitations in tight quarters. When using a tester, the circuit under test must be loaded as it will show the voltage drop between the two sides of the fuse. If the circuit is not closed when the tester is attached, there is no return path for power and the light will not come on. To test an open fuse you need to use a multimeter and compare both sides. to ground (assuming the fuse is on the "hot" side of the circuit) or just use an ohmmeter with the fuse pulled.

Pros
  • Includes popular ATC fuses
Cons
  • Requires socket
