I ordered a 2 1/4 inch double faced satin ribbon in light pink, pewter and rosewood to decorate my children's party. My mom is planning a party for our church family and local friends, so I'm helping out. She does all the decorations. One of my favorite things we made was a DIY satin ribbon garland/banner. It was such a fun and easy project! to melt/seal the ends. After that I folded each piece of ribbon in half and made a slipknot around the piece of paracord. I alternated colors until the garland was about 5-6 feet long. I will either hang it over the front of the table or on the wall. I love that I can keep it and reuse it for baby's first birthday!
