My Sylong Elbow Brace is better than YOUR elbow brace

I have associated Elhers-Danlos Syndrome (a connective tissue disorder) which for me means dislocated joints, torn ligaments and other complications with the movement of joints and organs, and therefore struggle with pain of varying degrees. So I wear and use A LOT of braces. I have two when I leave this review. About three years ago I sprained my left elbow. Now I have joint pain from overuse and the tendon often becomes inflamed. I was hoping to find a comfortable brace to sleep in (to allow her to rest while I rested) but all I could find was a brace that had a closed elbow and no way had to keep my arm in a slightly bent position. Since we've been staying home for the past few months, I've had nothing but time to surf the web and look for various supports that might work. I found the Sylong elbow brace for cubital tunnel syndrome. It's so convenient that it has a detachable handle that can be bent in the direction you want and removed completely. Since it's not very difficult or anything, I can adjust it without the help of another person (some braces require someone to hold them while you adjust them). Also, it's "normal" enough that I can wear it outside when needed. I've been using it practically every night since I've had it! If you are looking for an elbow brace/splint that is not too bulky, does not cut into your skin, does not require two people to apply and does not embarrass you too much in public. To you!

Pros
  • Light and comfortable
Cons
  • I don't really like it, it's ok
