I didn't notice much of a difference between the lights on and off. It's just a waste of time for using video calls. Holding it 5 inches from your face and shooting it with your phone is unlikely to get you anywhere. Also, the light got messed up after working with the remote so I don't get whites anymore, only one white mode, it doesn't reset after unplugging. I think that's what you get with all the other similar lits under $30. Better buy a regular floor lamp and put a LED light bulb, it will be better than this.
