I originally gave this product a 1 star rating but I have changed my mind and have now given it 3 stars. When I first tried to mount the adapter on my camera (BMPCC), it was incredibly difficult to screw it in, and the same goes for attaching the lens to the adapter. The M42 side has three screws, these screws have loosened and the threaded mount has come loose from the rest of the adapter. I found an Allen key that fits tiny screws and I managed to tighten the M42 side. , and the next time I installed the adapter on my camera (BMPCC), it was easier for me. However, I think I may have broken one of the screws when trying to tighten the side of the M42 mount. It's certainly not a professional tool, but it's also very inexpensive. If you need something 100% reliable, you can keep looking for another adapter, but if you don't mind tightening some screws and doesn't fit your BMPCC perfectly, then this adapter is for you. It would be great if they made the bolts a little bigger and less brittle and if they included a hex key/wrench to tighten them. I bet the allen wrench for these screws is 10 cents.
