Great Vinyl

I've recently started using vinyl for heat transfer and I have to say it's a lot of fun! I had a mom and son who went bowling with my young son and I wanted to make a fun, cute shirt to wear for the occasion. I use a Silhouette Cameo cutting machine. I created, mirrored and cut out my design. I played around a bit to tweak the settings to work well on my machine and knife. You'll probably have to experiment as well, but if you want to start from the spot, Blade = 3, Speed = 10, and Power = 7 with Double Slash. This vinyl is easy to weed and just as easy to apply. I don't even have a heat press, I use my regular old iron. Vinyl quickly sticks to the t-shirt and "sucks up”. I waited for the decal to cool before removing the transfer paper and had no trouble lifting it. Still perfect after several washes. I look forward to creating more things in the future!
