The speed of development. It's easy to use for beginners who are familiar with JavaScript/C# etc but also have experience in C++ or Java. I like it that you can mix-and match between languages (hxslang).It helps me write native applications without worrying too much about performance. Speed matters when writing games so this has been very helpful! Currently there are some issues around compiling large projects - as well as compiler crashes sometimes which causes problems during debugging. Be prepared to spend time solving these issues if they arise. At first glance many may think hxlang looks outdated compared to other tools available today however after using the product myself i feel its actually better than most because of how quickly things develop and compile at the moment. A lot more useful libraries exist now such as libGDX which allows us to build cross platform apps really easily instead having multiple different platforms we need to worry about.
