I bought a big Emoji AP-18 and this one is smaller. i really like it It's more like plucking a hair or two at a time. But they are very short. I found if you stretch the skin and tilt the device. I push back and forth in my movement and it goes straight to the root. I use it to fine tune areas of my face that a larger instrument can't safely do. Too large. It works great on large areas and doesn't cause pain. I have used this smaller one for a bikini area on very sensitive skin and it works great. I love it and am so glad I bought it. I clean it every time as instructed. Read the instructions carefully before use and follow them. I use a soft toothbrush and the one that came with the kit to keep the hair out of the cut area. I have also found for myself that I remove the supplied transparent protection for use, and with practiced skin holding the device at an angle and holding it back and forth and circular movements, I was able to completely remove the finest and smallest hairs through use of root crops. It works and as the light haired Bigfoot that I am I now have silky soft hair free skin! Believe it! My 5 stars - LOVE THIS MODULE!
