Bought for my 3 year old firefighter costume for Halloween, he loves them and never takes them off. Really complements the costume. They fit great and have a soft lining so they're easy to get on and off (and handles of course) and padding on the bottom so they're very comfortable on your feet. We're in Hawaii so not really used as wellies, but seem great for that (still used for puddles no doubt!). The tread grips well and doesn't slip when wet (of course, this worries us parents when the little ones walk on wet pavement/concrete). Great for the price!
