Review on 🪒 PHILIPS SH90/70 Replacement Blades for Series 9000 Electric Shaver – Enhance Your Shaving Experience by Misty Wood

I've been using the SH90 replacement for years. With each subsequent purchase, you'll see cost-cutting measures built into the design. This latest set is finally so badly made that it no longer fits on the razor. The blades on the left are the latest purchases, while the blades on the right are from last year (currently on the razor). The second photo shows the real problem, which is the assembly not snapping onto the razor. The problem boils down to a triangular space in the middle of the three leaf nodes. When snapped onto the razor, this space is expected to fit within a uniformly shaped triangle molded into the mating assembly. In the case of the latest SH90 redesign, that triangle is just too small to fit inside. Make an intentionally cheaper and worse upgrade, you can force it into place (simply because it bends out of shape) but it will instantly spring back. Only two of the three plastic pins remain engaged at a time. To try to save the hassle, I went as far as fitting three separate blade assemblies into an old holding frame. No dice as everything about the blade assembly has been changed and made cheaper.
