This is a good set of small lights if you like one of the 16 static colors or 20 "scenes" with changing flashing lights. It would be nice to have some Christmas classics like static multicolored lights and white lights with a few twinkle lights. There are no non-flashing options other than a color. At least you can change the brightness of each of them. Love the fact that they are USB powered so you can use an AC power bank or USB rechargeable battery and they don't have the flickering that you get from AC powered LED strings. This twine was just right for my 2ft artificial Christmas tree. Oh, and the infrared receiver (to use the included little remote control) is susceptible to interference from TV remotes and the like. I covered the receiver's sensor with foil and am using Bluetooth control from my phone.
