Review on H2OSUP 10.6ft Inflatable Paddle Board: Durable SUP with Backpack & Kayak Seat Compatibility by John Hashman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A really good board for €250.

I've been kayaking for 10 years now and I have 7 boards. 2 hard boards and 5 inflatable boards. I decided to try this board as it was suggested to me through the Revain vine program. No, it's far from my best board, but it's by far the cheapest board I've ridden. Overall it's a small board but 10ft 6 and 30 inches wide. It can also only be inflated to 15psi. They had to cut some corners to live up to the low price. pretty bad. However, I took it during a thunderstorm here in Wyoming with decent wind and waves and it held up. Overall I think it rows well, moves through the water fairly quickly and handles well. I like it. True to size but makes a great second board. Due to the size and narrowness, it is best suited for small paddlers and is not suitable for yoga classes, children or dogs. Look for something wide or longer for this. The kayak seat is poorly placed. They kind of fall where your feet fall. I also hate crappy plastic fins and key boxes. Although the shape is pretty good. In general, there are better options that cost at least twice as much as this if you want to get serious about paddling. I often swim in the ocean or am about to paddle, grab a Starboard, Nixy or even another board I've rummaged through the vine. On the other hand, if you want something for the kid, a lake, a second board for occasional use, or something to pack in the trunk or boat, this is a great option for the price. In fact, I forgot to mention that this is the smallest boxed board I've seen other than nixies or red travel boards. In summary for the price I was expecting a toy or junk but this is a real board. Yes, there are better options and I can recommend a few, but they are all much more expensive.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Big and bulky
