I bought my first bag (light grey) in spring 2018. I was tired of moving all my "stuff" from my purse to a gym backpack. I've used it for biking, hiking, kayaking and now it's my everyday bag. It's big enough to carry your normal daily essentials (wallet, sunglasses with case, cellphone, some lipsticks/glosses/balms, glasses/reading case) as well as extra sunscreen, water bottle, rainwear, extra socks, reading material. etc. Interestingly, I found it small enough to take with me every day - to restaurants, to the grocery store, etc. Some other sling backpacks, and definitely backpacks, seem to be oversized for everyday activities. This one works. I have used it for kayaking many times. I wouldn't say it's as waterproof as a dry bag, but I'm very confident in keeping my phone in it. The strap can be thrown over the right or left shoulder, which is very convenient when hiking. I now have 2 of these and am thinking of gifting them to friends as the price is fantastic. Worth every penny and then some.
