I've been swapping the monitor cable between my computer monitor and a flat screen TV (42 inch plasma) for about a year now. I've wanted to buy one of these VGA splitters for a long time (the constant swapping of connectors on the back of the computer was a problem and was beginning to damage the connection to the computer). However, I've read online that one of these monitor splitters degrades the resolution (especially since I have a 25ft monitor cable running from my computer to my TV). I decided to buy it and try it (it was just a bit of money anyway). And for my PLEASURE. I found this item to work great. The resolution of my TV is still excellent! (The PC resolution has changed a bit, but not enough to even work on my PC monitor settings.) I am completely satisfied with this purchase. I must have received one of those months ago!
